3CX Corporate Phone System FAQ

How do I login to 3CX?

  1. Open https://hhmhotels.nexacomm.net/#/login then click Sign in with Google.

How do I record my voicemail greeting?

  1. Login to 3CX.

  2. Click Settings along the left.

  3. Select Greetings.

  4. Click the microphone icon next to Default.

  5. Give your greeting a name like “default greeting”.

  6. The page will ask you to allow using your microphone - click Allow while visiting the site.

  7. The recording will begin - record your voicemail greeting and click the stop icon when finished.

  8. You can preview the record and start over if you’d like. If you like your greeting you can click the upload icon.

  9. You will see your recording shown here.


How do I install the 3CX app on my computer or phone?

  1. Login to 3CX.

  2. The first time you login you will be provided with options to install the app on your computer or phone and register your extension.

  3. If you need to find the QR code later, click Settings along the left, the General tab should be selected then click QR Code.
     


How do I adjust my audio settings in 3CX?

If you have issues hearing other people or other people hearing you - make sure the correct audio inputs and outputs are selected by following the steps below.
  1. Login to 3CX.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Audio/Video

  4. Adjust audio settings as needed.



How to make a call using the 3CX app

  1. Login to 3CX.

  2. Click the Phone icon at the top right corner.

  3. Dial the number using the numberpad.

  4. If you’re using the app on your smartphone, tap Keypad along the bottom to find the numberpad.



How to accept a call using the 3CX app

An incoming call will alert you via the app or top right corner of the 3CX webpage. Tap the green icon to accept the call.


How do I record my name for direct by dial

  1. Open the phone dialer and dial 9999

  2. Enter your voicemail pin then press pound.

  3. Press 9 for options.

  4. Press 5 for Self identification.

  5. Press 0 to record new, press pound when finished, press 0 to save.
